Join Our Team

Make a positive difference - work with kind-hearted, sensitive kids.

A rewarding, flexible, work-from-home, casual role for university students who want real experience supporting children’s Emotional Well-Being.

Do you have what it takes to join our growing team?

If you are an empathetic, energetic and empowering student studying Psychology, Education, Counselling or Occupational Therapy – you probably know that you want to work in a role that matters. At Raising Connected Kids, it does.

Every week, we work online with small groups of kind-hearted, sensitive children and teens to help them understand their emotions, see their strengths, find their voice and feel happy, calm and confident.

We are looking for dynamic and warm, students to join us as casual mentor facilitators.

Why students love this work:

It fits around your study. Sessions typically run after school hours, so your day stays free for uni.

You work from home, with no commute.

You build professional experience with children that looks great on the resume.

You learn from a qualified teacher and counsellor with decades of experience specialising in emotional well-being.

You are part of a team that genuinely cares about our clients and each other.

What you would be doing:

You will facilitate live, online weekly sessions for Connected Kids Academy, our small group program for school aged kids and run our four-week Connected Kids Workshops.

Our proactive, skills based, Social-Emotional educational program teaches sensitive children strategies to thrive,  through building their confidence, developing their self awareness, setting strong friendship foundations and helping them to regulate emotions positively.

Groups are capped at 5 children per session, so you get to know each child and witness their growth week by week.

You will be supported with training and ongoing supervision by Kaz and the team.

Who we would love to meet:

Third or fourth year (or provisional/ pre-service) students studying psychology, education, counselling or occupational therapy, with a demonstrated interest in working with children and families.
